#AEWSOC Regular Season Hits Final Week, League Awards Bestowed

BOSTON – Just one week remains in the #AEWSOC regular season and New Hampshire sits atop the league standings, followed closely by Hartford and Stony Brook. The Wildcats have 15 points due to a 5-1-0 record and are the league’s lone team to have clinched a bid to the 2017 #AEWSOC championship. The Hawks follow closely with 12 points at 4-2-1 and the Seawolves, have 12 points and are 4-2-0.  
 
The majority of #AEWSOC conference games will appear on AmericaEast.TV, the place to watch free live content on any device, including the network's Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire and Android TV OTT channels. Player of the Week
Mariah Williams, Albany – Jr., Forward, Utica, N.Y.
  • Scored three times in Albany’s 4-1 win over Maine Sunday.
  • The three goals tied the Great Danes’ single-game program record and was the first hat trick recorded by an America East player since Oct. 2, 2014.
  • This is Williams’ first career #AEWSOC Player of the Week honor.
Rookie of the Week
Alyssa Francese, Stony Brook – Fr., Forward, Varnamo, Sweden
  • Scored twice in Stony Brook’s 6-1 win over UMBC Sunday.
  • This is Francese’s third #AEWSOC Rookie of the Week honor of the season (9/18, 10/2, 10/16).
