BOSTON - ESPNU will televise the highly anticipated Vermont-New Hampshire men's basketball matchup on Feb. 9 from Burlington, the America East conference office announced Wednesday. The game will tip off at 9 p.m.

It will be the 10th straight year ESPNU has televised an America East regular-season contest.

The matchup features the teams chosen first and second in the conference's preseason poll that tabbed Vermont first and New Hampshire second. Vermont beat UNH, 71-59, Monday in Durham.

Vermont (15-5 overall, 5-0 AE) is off to its best start under John Becker. The Catamounts, winners of seven in a row and ranked 23rd in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25, are 5-0 in conference play for the first time since the 2009-10 season.

New Hampshire (11-7, 2-2) is off to its best 11-game start since the 1994-95 season. Led by All-Conference selections Tanner Leissner and Jaleen Smith, the Wildcats posted their first-ever 20-win season a year ago.
