Outdoor Track & Field Championship Takes Place This Weekend in Vermont

BURLINGTON, VT. – All 18 America East’s track and fields programs will descend upon the University of Vermont for the 2016 conference outdoor championship this weekend. The teams will compete for the title Saturday and Sunday at Vermont's Frank H. Livak Track, the second time in three years the facility has hosted the event.  

Tickets are available for purchase at the door ($10 for adults, $5 for children 14 and under and $2 for America East students with a valid ID).

Albany’s men's and women's program have dominated the event over the last decade plus as both teams have won a league-record 11-straight conference championships. 

The action begins Saturday at 10 a.m .with the men's decathalon and the women's heptathalon at 10:30 a.m.
