LOWELL, Mass. - The top two seeds in the 2016 America East Baseball Championship advanced to Friday’s winner’s bracket final as #1 Binghamton beat #5 Albany, 6-3 and #2 Hartford got a walk-off single in the 10th inning to get past #3 Stony Brook, 7-6, on day two of the 2016 Baseball Championship Thursday at LeLacheur Park. Albany beat Maine in the day’s third game, 9-8, to avoid elimination.
The Bearcats and Hawks will kick off Friday’s action at noon. The Seawolves will play Great Danes in the second game at 3:30 p.m. The Binghamton-Hartford loser will play the Stony Brook-Albany winner in the third game of the day at 7 p.m.
