Three America East women's lacrosse standouts were named Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association (IWLCA) All-Americans, the organization announced Wednesday. A total of 48 student-athletes were honored on the Division I level across three teams.

Stony Brook junior attacker Courtney Murphy was named to the IWLCA First Team, sophomore attacker Kylie Ohlmiller was named to the second team and senior defender Alyssa Fleming earned third team honors. The three selections matches the most in league history.

Murphy broke the NCAA single-season scoring record with 100 goals on the year. She became the first America East women's lacrosse student-athlete to be named a First Team All-American since Boston U.'s Sarah Dalton in 2009. The junior broke Dalton's conference single-season points record with 116 for the year. She became the first Seawolf to be named the America East Offensive Player of the Year.

Ohlmiller earns All-America honors for the second-straight year after being named to the third team last year. A first-team All-America East selection, Ohlmiller led the league with 47 assists and totaled 91 points for the season, while adding in several highlight-reel plays.

Fleming’s 40 caused turnovers in 2016 were the second-most in a single season in Stony Brook program history and 11th-most in the nation as of May 15. Her 102 career caused turnovers rank her second in program history. The senior defender is the sixth third-team All-American selection in program history.
