BOSTON – Binghamton's Jesse Garn put forward one of the best 800-meter races in the country last weekend, placing first of 77 competetors in the elite Princeton Larry Ellis Invitational and posting the 16th-fastest time in the country this year, Several athletes had standout performances last week, including this week's award winners:

Men's Track Performer of the Week
Jesse Garn, Binghamton - Sr., Marcellus, N.Y.
- Won the 800-meter run at Princeton's Larry Ellis Invitational, placing first of 77 runners in an elite field.
- Ran the race in 1:47:11.
- The time is tops in America East this season and the 16th-best in the country.
Women's Track Performer of the Week
Dana Gaetani, Vermont - Sr., Denver, Colo.
- Broke Vermont's 10-year old school record in the 400-meter run at the Duke Invitational.
- Finished seventh overall in the event with a time of 55.79, the second-best in America East this year.
Men's Field Performer of the Week
Ian Weider, Vermont - Jr., Thetford Center, Vt.
- Placed third in the long jump at the Duke Invitational with a leap of 23' 3.5".
- The leap was the best in America East this season.
- This is Weider's second Men's Field Performer of the Week award of the season (4/13).
Women's Field Performer of the Week
Annika Hibbard, Albany - Jr., Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.
- Broke the school record in the high jump for the second straight week.
- Leapt 5’ 9.25”, the best in America East and 39th best in the nation.
- This is her second-straight Women's Field Performer of the Week award.
