BOSTON - The top four teams in the America East softball standings squared off last week with Albany taking two of three games from Maine and Binghamton sweeping Stony Brook. With just two weeks remaining in the regular season, the Great Danes remain atop the league standings at 9-1 with Binghamton trailing by percentage points at 10-2. Stony Brook (9-5) and Maine (7-4) are third and fourth, respectively, followed by UMBC (3-8), Hartford (2-9) and UMass Lowell (2-13).

Griffin McIver, Binghamton - Sr., DP, Endicott, N.Y.
- Hit .562 (9-for-16) to lead Binghamton to a 5-0 week.
- Belted a pair of homers and a double.
- Had eight RBI and three runs scored.
- This is her second Player of the Week honor of the season (4/25).
Pitcher of the Week
Kim Puccio, UMBC - So., P, Sparta, N.J.
- Pitched a complete-game shutout in UMBC's 2-0 win at Lehigh Saturday.
- Lehigh has an RPI of 61 and the loss was just its second at home this year.
- Allowed just two hits while striking out a pair.
- This is her second Pitcher of the Week honor of the season (3/8).
Rookie of the Week
Meghan Royle, Maine - Fr., Util., Colt's Neck, N.J.
- Hit .464 (4-for-11) in four games.
- Whacked a double and a home run.
- Scored a pair of runs.
