BOSTON - The UMass Lowell River Hawks won their first game as a program to highlight the week in America East women's lacrosse. The River Hawks topped Siena, 12-8, and with the win came a second-straight weekly award. Also over the weekend, Stony Brook gave No. 3 Florida everything the Gators could handle before falling, 7-6, in front of a record crowd at LaValle Stadium. Albany and UNH also posted wins last week.

Offensive Player of the Week
Dakotah Savitcheff, Albany, Jr., A, Canadaigua, N.Y.
- Totaled seven goals and one assist over two games last week
- Tallied three goals and one assist in a win over Elon
- Posted four goals in a loss at No. 5 North Carolina
Defensive Player of the Week
Brooke Gubitosi, Stony Brook, R-So., Defender, East Northport, N.Y.
- Second-straight Seawolf to be named Defensive Player of the Week
- Picked up four ground balls and caused three turnovers vs. No. 3 Florida
- Helped the Stony Brook defense allow just seven goals to the Gators, who were averaging almost 15 goals per game coming in
Rookie of the Week
Kristina Keith, UMass Lowell, Fr., M, Exeter, N.H.
- Second-straight River Hawk to be named Rookie of the Week
- Matched the UMass Lowell record for points in a game with five
- Posted four goals and one assist as the River Hawks won their first game as a program, 12-8, over Siena
