BOSTON - All seven America East softball programs were action last weekend. Albany went a perfect 4-0 to improve to a league-best 7-6 on the season. Read about this week's award winners below:
Player of the Week
Liz Snow, Albany - Jr., C, Long Beach, Calif.
- Hit .500 (6-for-12) and racked up a .625 on-base percentage in leading Albany to a 4-0 week.
- Slugged .917, hitting a home run and two doubles.
- Drove in nine runs.
Pitcher of the Week
Sarah Miller, Binghamton - So., P, Fort Worth, Texas
- Went 2-0 with a 1.87 ERA in 15 innings of work.
- Allowed just nine hits and struck out nine
Rookie of the Week
Morgan Peyou, UMBC - Fr., OF, Mercer Island, Wash.
- Hit .500 (8-for-16) and also walked twice to record a .562 on base percentage in six games last week.
- Scored six runs and drove in four.
