BOSTON  - No. 11/8 Stony Brook started the season with a win and took home a pair of weekly honors in America East women's lacrosse, the conference office announced Monday. The Seawolves and UMBC went unbeaten last week as the Retrievers earned wins over both George Washington and American. Binghamton continued its solid play out of the gate with a 1-1 week. 

Here are the week 3 award winners: 

Offensive Player of the Week
Kylie Ohlmiller, Stony Brook, So., A, West Islip, N.Y.

  • Tallied five goals and a total of seven points in No. 11/8 Stony Brook's 18-4 win at Bryant Sunday
  • The five goals tied a career-high, achieved twice last season
  • Bryant won the Northeast Conference in 2015

Defensive Player of the Week
Anna Tesoriero, Stony Brook., Fr., GK, Huntington, N.Y.

  • Recorded nine saves and allowed three goals in an 18-4 victory over Bryant Sunday
  • Played the first 56:48 of the contest before exiting with a 15-goal lead

Rookie of the Week
Noelle Lambert, UMass Lowell, Fr., A, Londonderry, N.H.

  • Posted nine points, totaling five goals and four assists over two games for the River Hawks.
  • Notched four goals and an assist vs. Manhattan.
  • Added a goal and three assists vs. Army.
