  • Stony Brook, Albany and New Hampshire have all locked up top four seeds and secured home quarterfinal games.
  • Stony Brook hosts UNH in a battle of the first and third-place teams in the America East standings.
    • The Seawolves have the nation's longest win streak at 17 games while the Wildcats have won six of their last seven. 
    • Stony Brook can become the first team to go 13-0 in conference play since Vermont's 2004-05 squad with a win.
    • Stony Brook has won nine of the last 11 in the series, including an 80-50 win earlier this year.
  • Albany hosts Maine in a matchup of teams both coming off tough losses. The Black Bears fell in overtime to UMass Lowell, 108-95 while the Great Danes fell at New Hampshire, 69-68, on Tanner Leissner's three-point play 14 seconds left.
    • The Great Danes are perfect 11-0 at home this season.
    • Maine handed Albany one of its three conference losses on Jan. 15, winning 81-79.
  • UMBC visits UMass Lowell in a battle of high-scoring teams. 
    • The River Hawks have won three of their last four.
    • UMass Lowell won the first meeting, 95-89 in overtime, on Jan. 16. Matt Harris had 32 points for UML while Jairus Lyles scored 29 for UMBC.
  • Hartford visits Vermont at 2 p.m.Stony Brook sits atop the league standings at 12-0. SBU is just the third team in 12 years to start league play 12-0 (Albany, 2014-15; Vermont, 2004-05).Stony Brook holds a league-best RPI of 62 (as of 2/8), the best rating for an America East team this late in the season since Vermont’s 2004-05 squad finished at #25.
    • The Hawks have dropped six straight while Vermont is looking for its first win in three games. 
    • The Catamounts won the first meeting, 83-66, on Jan. 16.
  • The Seawolves’ 17-game win streak is Division I program record and the longest in the nation.
  • The Seawolves are ranked 12th in the CollegeInsider.com Mid Major Top 25 and receiving votes in both national polls.
  • UNH knocked off Albany at home Wednesday for its seventh win in its last eight games.
  • Second-place Albany (9-3) is a perfect 11-0 at home this year.
  • Both Stony Brook and Albany reached the 20-win mark Monday, the Seawolves’ fifth-straight 20-win season and the Great Danes’ third in the last four years.
  • America East ranks 23rd out of 32 Division I conferences in RPI, according to the Jan. 25 College Basketball News RPI Report, a three-spot improvement from this time last year.
  • Seven of America East’s nine teams have better RPIs than at this time last year.
