BOSTON - America East women's basketball teams went 5-5 in non-conference play before taking a break for the holidays last week. The teams play one more week of non-conference games before conference play begins on Jan. 4. Here are the week seven award winners:
Co-Player of the Week

Co-Player of the Week
Davion Wingate, Stony Brook, So., G, Atlanta, Ga.
- Averaged 23.0 points and 3.0 steals per game in a 1-1 week
- Scored a career-high 25 points in a win over Florida A&M Tuesday
- Notched 21 points vs. Indiana Wednesday
- Was Named to Florida Sunshine Classic All-Tournament Team
- Is 30-for-30 from the free-throw line this season
Rookie of the Week
Tyler Moore, UMBC, Fr., G, Portsmouth, Va.
- In UMBC’s lone game of the week, Moore tied her career-best with 19 points, after going 4-of-8 from beyond the arc and 6-of-13 from the field overall.
- Against the Blackbirds, Moore also knocked down three of her four shots from the charity stripe and pulled down six boards, while adding two steals.
