The America East Men's Soccer Championship semifinals take place Wednesday night with two trips to the conference championship game on the line. No. 1 Stony Brook will host No. 5 Hartford and No. 2 Albany entertains No. 3 Vermont. Both games begin at 7 p.m. and will air on AmericaEast.TV.
America East teams are in the midst of one of the greatest seasons in conference history. The league's men's soccer teams have combined to earned the third-highest conference RPI in the country, behind only the ACC and Pac 12 and several teams in line for potential NCAA at-large bids with five programs in the top 50 of the RPI.

- Stony Brook is the top seed for the America East Championship for just the second time and first time since 2005.
- Hartford advanced to the America East semifinals with its 2-1 win at No. 4 New Hampshire Saturday.
- The Hawks are in the semifinals for the third time in the last four years and seeking their fourth trip to the championship game since 2011.
- The Seawolves beat the Hawks during the regular season, 3-1, on Oct. 12 scoring three times in the final 12 minutes, including a pair of goals by Thibault Duval.
- Stony Brook is 6-5-4 all-time in tournament play while Hartford is 11-9-6.

- Albany seeks its first-ever America East Championship final appearance while Vermont is aiming to get back to the title game for the second-straight year.
- The Catamounts advanced to the semifinals with their 2-1 double overtime win over No. 6 Binghamton Saturday. Brian Wright scored the game winner in the 109th minute.
- Vermont, the reigning league champion, is trying to become just the ninth team to win back-to-back league titles. The Catamounts last accomplished the feat in 1988 and 1989.
- The Great Danes beat the Catamounts, 4-0, on Oct. 7. Afonso Pinherio scored twice and added an assist.
- Albany is 1-6-2 all-time in conference play while Vermont is 13-12-3.
