BOSTON – The past week in swimming and diving included a victory for the Vermont Catamounts at Maine, a New Hampshire win at Rhode Island and a win for UMBC against Old Dominion. Binghamton was on a bye week. Here are the award winners of the week:
Swimmer of the Week
Emily Escobedo, UMBC – Sr., Breast/IM, New Rochelle, N.Y.

Escobedo broke the pool record in the 200 breast in a time of 2:12.95, breaking Masami Tanaka's record of 2:13.20 set in 2004.

She won both the 100 and 200 breast, as well as helping the 200 medley and 400 free relay teams to wins.

She finished the 100 breast in 1:03.18

Escobedo swam the second leg of the 200 medley relay that finished in 1:46.23, while leading off 400 free relay that won in a time of 3:34.25.
Diver of the Week
Abby Biddulph, UMBC – Fr., Diving, Egg Harbor City, N.J.

Biddulph once again swept diving, winning both the 1 and 3 meter dive.

She scored a 233.40 on the 1 meter board, while taking the 3 meter dive in 204.52.
