College basketball season begins Friday November 11th! Be sure to check out
our daily previews of all nine America East schools. Here are some key notes on
Binghamton men's basketball:
  • The Bearcats were picked fourth in the America East preseason poll, matching their best-ever predicted finish (2005-06, 2007-08, 2008-09).
  • Binghamton returns all five starters and 11 letterwinners from a team that earned its highest America East tournament seed (No. 5) since the 2008-09 season.
  • Junior Willie Rodriguez headlines the group. He ranked fourth in the league in scoring (15.1 ppg) and seventh in rebounding (6.7 rpg) on his way towards earning third-team All-Conference honors last year.
  • Senior Marlon Beck (9.8 ppg, 2.0 apg), sophomore Thomas Bruce (6.8 ppg, 5.0 rpg, .540 FG percentage) and Bucknell transfer J.C. Show will also play big roles for the Bearcats.
  • Binghamton opens its season at the Events Center vs. Cornell on Nov. 11 and will also visit St. John’s and VCU within its first four games.
