BOSTON – The New England Championship took place last Saturday at Franklin Park in Boston and it was the New Hampshire women’s cross country team that had the big day. The Wildcats won their third New England title in the last four years thanks to three finishers in the top-10. On the men’s side, it was Maine who finished fifth in the 5K race with two of their runners finishing in the top-15.

Women’s Performer of the Week
Sarah Keiran, New Hampshire – Sr., Distance Runner, Rowley, Mass.
- Finished sixth overall in the New England Championships with a time of 17:59.9
- Led three UNH finishers in the top 10 and four in the top 13 to lead the team to its third New England title in the last four years
Men’s Performer of the Week
Jesse Orach, Maine - Sr., Distance Runner, Gorham, Maine.
- Placed fourth overall with a time of 24:43.46 to lead Maine to a fifth-place finish at the New England Championships
- It is his fifth Performer of the Week award this season
