- Stony Brook has won seven-straight games at Island Federal Credit Union and its 19-5 since the building opened at the start of the 2014-15 season.
- UAlbany and Hartford meet on ESPN3 in a rematch of the 2015 America East title game. The Great Danes have won the last 10 meetings against Hawks, including last year's title game, and the 2013 league championship game. UAlbany won all three games last season, but Hartford leads the overall series 20-16.
- UMBC guard Taylor McCarley scored a season-high 27 points as the Retrievers topped UNH on the road.
- Liz Wood tallied her 22nd career double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds to lead Maine to a win over Binghamton. The Black Bears matched a season-best defensive effort by holding the Bearcats to 38 points.
- Albany’s Zakiya Saunders dished out 13 assists vs. Stony Brook, the most for an America East player since Boston U’s Christine Kinneary had 14 vs. Northeastern on Nov. 19, 2007. Saunders has five 10+ assist games this year, which matches the most in a single-season for any America East player as far back as the statistics go (1999-2000).
- Albany senior Shereesha Richards needs 56 more rebounds to become the fourth player in America East history to record 2,000 points and 1,000 rebounds. She ranks 9th all-time on the career scoring list with 2,093 points.
- The America East is the only non-Power 5 Conference with six teams in the top-100 of scoring defense (Maine-10, Albany-25, Stony Brook-58, UMBC-77, Hartford-84, Binghamton-88).
