- The first half of the conference schedule winds down with four matchups Wednesday.
- New Hampshire, winner of three straight games, meets Vermont on ESPN3, in a battle of teams tied for second place in the conference standings, along with Albany, at 4-2.
- The Wildcats' Tanner Leissner earned America East Player of the Week honors last week by averaging 24.7 points and 8.0 rebounds in three victories.
- Albany is coming off a loss at Stony Brook Friday but returns home to host UMass Lowell at SEFCU Arena, where it is 9-0 this season.
- Binghamton aims for its second-straight win when it hosts UMBC. The Bearcats knocked off UMass Lowell for their first league win Sunday.
- UMBC's Jairus Lyles is averaging 26.0 points per game in the 10 games he's played in since becoming eligible for second semester contests.
- Hartford hosts Maine at 7 p.m.
- The Black Bears have doubled their 2014-15 win total and rank second in the conference in scoring (75.8 ppg).
- America East ranks 23rd out of 32 Division I conferences in RPI, according to the Jan. 25 College Basketball News RPI Report, a three-spot improvement from this time last year.
- Seven of America East’s nine teams have better RPIs than at this time last year.
- Stony Brook holds a league-best RPI of 65, the best rating for an America East team this late in the season since Vermont’s 2004-05 squad finished at #25.
- America East teams combined for 55 regular-season non-conference wins, the most since the 2012-13 season and 11 more than a year ago.
