BOSTON - With the first half of conference play winding down this week, Stony Brook remains the lone unbeaten team in the standings at 6-0. Albany, New Hampshire and Vermont all sit in second place, two games back at 4-2.
New Hampshire's Tanner Leissner earned America East Player of the Week honors for the first time in his career and UMass Lowell's Issac White picked up Rookie of the Week presented by Under Armour accolades.

Player of the Week
Tanner Leissner, New Hampshire - So., Forward, Converse, Texas
- Led UNH to three league wins by averaging 24.7 points and 8.0 rebounds per contest.
- Shot 59.7 percent from the field (28-for-47).
- Scored a career-high 30 points and added seven rebounds in a win over Maine on Jan. 18.
- Contributed 27 points, including 20 in the second half, and eight caroms in the Wildcats’ comeback win over UMass Lowell Thursday.
- Had 17 points and nine boards in a win over Hartford Sunday.
Rookie of the Week presented by Under Armour
Issac White, UMass Lowell - Fr., Guard, Ashland, Ohio
- Averaged 11.3 points and 3.0 assists in three games last week.
- Contributed 14 points and added three assists in UMass Lowell’s first-ever win over Vermont on Jan. 18. in Burlington.
- This is his first career weekly honor.

- America East ranks 23rd out of 32 Division I conferences in RPI, according to the Jan. 25 College Basketball News RPI Report, a three-spot improvement from this time last year.
- Seven of America East’s nine teams have better RPIs than at this time last year.
- Stony Brook holds a league-best RPI of 65, the best rating for an America East team this late in the season since Vermont’s 2004-05 squad finished at #25.
- The Seawolves are one of just two teams (Hawaii) to lead their conference in both scoring offense and defense.
- The Seawolves, who rank 11th nationally with a +15.0 scoring margin, are riding a Division I program record 11-game win streak.
- New Hampshire has won three games in a row and sits in a three-way tie for second place with Albany and Vermont at 4-2.
- Maine's’ six wins double its 2014-15 total.
- Jameel Warney is one of just two players in the country (New Mexico State’s Pascal Siakam) to lead his conference in scoring (18.3 ppg), rebounding (10.4 rpg) and blocks (3.1 bpg).
- Warney currently sits in a tie for third place on the conference's all-time rebound list with 1,115.
- UMBC's Jairus Lyles is averaging 26.0 points per game in the eight games he's played in since becoming eligible as a mid-year transfer.
- Hartford's Pancake Thomas scored 38 points in a loss to UNH Sunday. It's the most points by a player in an America East game since Boston University's John Holland had 38 vs. Hartford on Feb. 28, 2008.
- America East teams combined for 55 regular-season non-conference wins, the most since the 2012-13 season and 11 more than a year ago.
