BOSTON - A record-tying performance highlighted the week in America East women's soccer as conference teams compiled an 8-7-1 record. Stony Brook, Hartford, Albany and New Hampshire all notched unbeaten records with the Great Danes, Hawks and Seawolves all going 2-0-0 while the Wildcats went 1-0-1 to win the TD Bank Classic hosted by Vermont.

Here are the week three award winners:

Player of the Week
Aaliyah Ingram, Hartford, Jr., F, Northport, N.Y.

  • Had a hand in five of Hartford’s six goals against Iona in a shutout victory on Thursday.
  • Scored three of the Hawks’ four second-half goals and handed out a pair of assists for a career-best eight points against the Gaels.
  • The eight points tie a single game scoring record for the Hawks and the America East as she shares the record with former teammate Chanel Johnson and former Hartford striker Amelia Pereira.
  • Ingram entered the season with two career goals and has nearly tripled that output just four games in with a team-leading five markers.
  • The hat trick was the first for a Hartford player this season.

Rookie of the Week
Julia Carr, Hartford, Fr., F, Guilford, Conn.

  • Recorded two goals on the week, scoring once in a 6-0 oust at Iona on Thursday before netting the game-winner in overtime against Sacred Heart on Sunday.
  • Has scored at least one goal in three of the Hawks’ first four games this season
  • Ranks second in scoring with three goals and an assist for seven points.

Notes

  • Hartford’s six goals against Iona marked the team’s highest offensive output in a single game since 2010, when it defeated Vermont by a 6-2 count on Oct. 14
  • The six-goal triumph is the largest margin of victory under 12th-year head coach John Natale, and is the program’s largest of victory since it defeated Fordham, 8-0, on Sept. 1, 2002
  • New Hampshire won the TD Bank Classic hosted by Vermont with a win over Quinnipiac and a tie against Kent State. Brooke Murphy was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player with two goals and an assist on the weekend.
