EUGENE, Ore. – Six America East student-athletes will compete in the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship at the University of Oregon June 10-13. All events will air on ESPN Networks. The six competitors advanced to the meet via their performances at the NCAA East Regional Meet two weeks ago.

Three men will compete in Binghamton’s Jesse Garn in the 800-meters, UMBC’s Vincent Rentzsch, the America East javelin champion, in that event and New Hampshire’s John Prizzi in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.

On the women’s side, Binghamton’s Keishorea Armstrong, and the New Hampshire duo of Elinor Purrier and Laura Rose Donegan will compete. Armstrong is the first Binghamton female athlete to advance to the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships and will compete in the long jump and both Purrier and Rose Donegan qualifying in the 3.000-meter steeple chase.
