The Seawolves outscored UMBC, 12-2, in the second half on their way to a 16-5 win in the semifinals. Courtney Murphy tied an America East single-game tournament record with seven goals.
Albany (14-3) is after its third title in the last five years and is ranked 18th by Inside Lacrosee and 19th by the IWLCA. The Great Danes played their first overtime game in tournament history in the semifinals, using a Rachel Bowles goal in the final minute to beat the Catamounts, 14-13.
