BOSTON - Albany secured the No. 1 seed for the America East Men's Lacrosse Championship for the third straight year Saturday as the Great Danes knocked off Binghamton to capture at least a share of the league's regular-season title. Read about last week's games and the weekly award winners:

Brody Eastwood, Stony Brook - Jr., Attack, Victoria, British Columbia
- Scored 10 goals in Stony Brook's win over UMass Lowell Friday, which is tied for the second-most ever in an America East contest.
- Added an assist for 11 total points.
- Scored once in the Seawolves loss to Lehigh Sunday.
- This is Eastwood's second-straight honor.
Co-Player of the Week
Justin Rosenberg, Vermont - Jr., Goalkeeper, Boyds, Md.
- Stopped 18 of 28 shots he saw to lead Vermont to its first-ever win over UMBC.
- Allowed just three second-half scores and made 10 stops after the break.
- Stopped Nate Lewnes' game-tying attempt with 17 seconds left to presever the win.
Rookie of the WeekRyan Vanderford, Hartford - Fr., Goalkeeper, Monclair, N.J.
- Earned his second-straight weekly honor by stopping 13 UMass shots and allowing just eight goals in a 15-8 Hartford win.
- The 13 saves tied his career high.
- Held UMass scoreless for stretches of 16 and 22 minutes.
- This is his third career award.

- Lyle Thompson's 6.8 points per game are the most in the country while Stony Brook's Mike Rooney is third (5.9 ppg).
- Thompson tied Cornell's Rob Pannell for the all-time NCAA points record with 354.
- Brody Eastwood ranks second averaging 3.9 goals per game.
