America East's newest web feature, #AEToday, will offer quick hits on what's happening in the conference, including upcoming conference games, key results, must know facts and much more!

Need To Know

  • Baseball, softball and men's and men's and women's lacrosse all have conference games on the schedule for Saturday. 
  • Baseball is in its second weekend of conference play after Hartford took two of three from UMBC, and Stony Brook took two of three from Binghamton last weekend.
  • Hartford hosts Maine beginning with a single game Saturday at 3 p.m. The game will be available on AmericaEast.TV.
  • The UMass Lowel -Albany series has been canceled due to snow.
  • Maine and UMBC were slated to kick off softball conference play Saturday but their doubleheader was pushed back to Sunday.
  • Three women's lacrosse conference games are on the docket Saturday to open the league portion of the schedule with all three available on AmericaEast.TV. No. 17/14 Stony Brook battles New Hampshire in Durham, Binghamton is at UMBC and No. RV/20 Albany visits UMass Lowell. 
  • Vermont also hosts Central Connecticut in non-conference action on CatamounTV.
  • Three men's lacrosse league games are also on the docket for Saturday with all three on AmericaEast.TV.
  • No. 13/11 Albany welcomes Hartford and UMBC is at Stony Brook for 1 p.m. starts while Vermont is at UMass Lowell at 3 p.m.
  • Binghamton is also at home on AmericaEast.TV in a non-conference game against Towson. 
  • In men's basketball, Albany dropped a hard-fought battle to No. 3 seed Oklahoma in the NCAA first round, 69-60.
  • In women's basketball, Albany led No. 4 seed Duke into the final minute of play before losing a heartbreaker, 54-52, at Cameron Indoor Stadium in the NCAA first round. Maine also was eliminated from the WNIT at Villanova, 71-60.
