An America East team has already won a postseason game for the sixth time in the last seven years after Vermont's CBI win at Hofstra Wednesday and Albany will attempt to add another victory Friday night. The 14th-seeded Great Danes will face third-seeded Oklahoma in the second round of the NCAA tournament at 7:27 p.m.
Stony Brook and New Hampshire also made postseason appearances, dropping opening round games in the first round of their respective tournaments. The four postseason teams are the second-most in league history and its the 11th time in the last 13 years multiple America East teams have continued their seasons into mid March.

- The win is the Catamounts' fourth postseason win all-time.
- Ethan O'Day led five Catamounts in double figures with 17 points.
- Vermont will host Radford in the quarterfinals Monday.
at Mercer 72, Stony Brook 70
- Ike Nwamu's jumper with just seconds left gave Mercer the win over the Seawolves.
- Carson Puriefoy led Stony Brook with 19 points.
- Jameel Warney had his 24th double-double of the year (14 points, 13 rebounds).
- The Seawolves end their season 23-12, their fifth 20-win campaign in the last six years.

at NJIT 84, New Hampshire 77
- New Hampshire led NJIT by five at the half, but the Highlanders outscored the Wildcats by 12 after the break to end their season.
- Jaleen Smith scored a team-high 17 points for the Wildcats.
- UNH was without two starters, America East Rookie of the Year Tanner Leissner and All-Defensive team member Joe Bramanti.
- UNH finished its season 19-13, a 13-win improvement from 2013-14 and tied its program record for victories.
