The 2014-15 season will continue for four America East men's basketball programs this week as Albany, New Hampshire, Stony Brook and Vermont will all play in the postseason. It's the second-most postseason participants the conference has ever had, second only to the five teams that made postseason appearances in 2013.

Albany (24-8) will make its third-straight NCAA appearance after capturing the America East title in thrilling fashion on Saturday. The Great Danes will be the No. 14 seed in the East Region, the league's highest seed since Albany was seeded 13th in 2007. Albany will face third-seeded Oklahoma on Friday in Columbus, Ohio at 7:27 p.m.

New Hampshire (19-12) will make its first-ever postseason appearance after accepting an invitation to the CollegeInsider.com Tournament. The Wildcats, who tied their program record with 19 wins, will face NJIT in the first round of the CIT Monday at 7 p.m. in Newark, N.J.

Stony Brook (23-11) and Vermont (18-13) both accepted invitations to the College Basketball Invtational. The Seawolves , who will be appearing in the CBI for the second-straight year, will be making their fifth postseason appearance in the last six years while the Catamounts are in the postseason for the seventh-straight year and the 11th time in the last 13 years.

The Seawolves will play at Mercer while the Catamounts will be at Hofstra. Both games tip at 7 p.m.

All together, 63 America East teams have played in the postseason all-time with 14 teams earning wins.
