America East Adds Under Armour Corporate Sponsorship

BOSTON - The America East Conference has finalized a new corporate sponsorship agreement with Under Armour, Inc., all parties announced Tuesday. In accordance with the agreement, Under Armour will serve as an official sponsor of the America East Conference.

"When we prioritized securing more corporate partnerships last year, our focus was to align the America East with recognizable brands that understand and share our core values along with our spirit of innovation and progress,” said America East Commissioner Amy Huchthausen.” Under Armour is renowned for its cutting-edge design, technology and innovation, which makes them a terrific fit and we’re delighted to partner with them. We’d like to thank Shamrock Sports & Entertainment, led by Brian Corcoran, for helping secure this agreement.”

The agreement includes several branding privileges that will complement Under Armour’s marketing campaigns through in-venue presence at America East Championships, including the Men’s Basketball Playoffs and the Women’s Basketball Championship. Those privileges include signage at the championships, online promotion on the official website of America East, www.AmericaEast.com and media units in the conference’s ESPN3 and AmericaEast.TV broadcasts. In addition, Under Armour will be the presenting sponsor of  the men’s and women’s basketball all-conference teams and weekly awards.
