The 2015 America East Women's Basketball Championship hosted by Binghamton University starts on Saturday, March 7 and the tournament picture came into much clearer focus following Thursday's games with the top six seeds getting decided.
- Maine (14-1 America East - holds tiebreak over Albany)

- New Hampshire (8-7 - holds tiebreak over Hartford)
- Hartford (7-8)
- UMBC (5-10)
Binghamton (2-13) and Vermont (2-13) are currently tied. The Catamounts hold the tiebreaker and would be No. 7 with a win or a Bearcat loss Sunday.
at Maine 61, UMBC 41
- Clinched the No. 1 seed and at-least a share of the America East regular-season title for the first time since 2004-05.
- The Black Bears will clinch the title outright with a win over New Hampshire on Sunday or a loss by Albany.
- Maine had not finished above fourth since winning the America East regular-season in 2004-05.
- Liz Wood had a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds to go with five assists and five steals while Sigi Koizar had a team-high 15 points.
Albany 65 at Hartford 50
- Albany clinched a top-two seed in the America East Championship for the fourth-straight season and can earn a share of the regular-season title with a win a loss by Maine on Sunday.
- Imanie Tate scored a game-high 17 points while Shereesha Richards had 16 points and nine rebounds.
- Hartford will be the fifth seed and will face New Hampshire.
Stony Brook 68, Binghamton 59
- Stony Brook earned the No. 3 in the America East Championship, marking the second-straight season and fourth time in school history the Seawolves have been seeded third or higher.
- Kori Bayne-Walker scored a game-high 23 points to go with five rebounds and four assists.
- The Seawolves will face No. 6 UMBC in the quarterfinals.
UMass Lowell 72 at Vermont 64
- UMass Lowell finished the America East season 7-9, a three win improvement from last season when they went 4-12.
- Vermont heads into the final game of the season tied with Binghamton for the No. 7 seed. The Catamounts hold the tiebreak on the Bearcats.
- Four River Hawks scored in double figures, led by 15 from Jasmine McRoy.
