BOSTON - Fourteen America East indoor track & field programs officially opened their 2015-16 campaigns last week. The conference's 18 teams will work towards the America East Championship on Feb. 19-20 at Ocean Breeze Track & Field Complex on Staten Island.

Men's Track Performer of the Week
Jon Alkins, Binghamton - Jr., Tuckahoe, N.Y.
- Swept the men's 60 and 300 meters at the season-opening Greg Page Relays with times of 6.87 and 34.88, respectively.
- Met the IC4A qualifying standard in the 60 and broke his own school record of 6.90.
- His 60-meter time was the 10th-best in the nation last week.
Women's Track Performer of the Week
Laura Rose Donegan, New Hampshire - Sr., Melbourne, Australia
- Set a program record in the 5,000 meters at the Boston University Season Opener.
- Ran the race in 16:17.12, the seventh-best time in the nation last week.
Men's Field Performer of the Week
Ian Weider, Vermont - Jr., Thetford Center, Va.
- Set a Vermont facility record in the long jump last week.
- The jump of 23' 11.5" was the fifth-best in the country last week.
Women's Field Performer of the Week
Keishorea Armstrong, Binghamton - Jr., Chatham, N.Y.
- Won the long and triple jumps at Binghamton's season-opening Greg Page Indoor Track Relays at Cornell.
- Post the best long jump in the country last week (20' 1") and the fourth-best triple jump (41' 1.5").
