University at Albany's Paula Heuser headlined three America East field hockey standouts named All-Americans by the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association (NFHCA) on Monday. Heuser was a first-team selection for the second-straight year while Maine's Nicole Sevey and Stanford's Maddie Secco were second-team choices.

Heuser, a junior midfielder, finished 2015 ranked third nationally in points per game (3.59) and goals per game (1.55). She stands as the NCAA Division I active career leader in goals (80) as well as points (194). Heuser, the three-time America East Midfielder of the Year, scored 34 goals in 2015 to go with 12 assists. She was an America East All-Conference first-team selection for the third consecutive year in addition to her All-Championship team recognition.

Sevey, a senior midfielder, earned first-team All-America East honors for the second-straight year in 2015. She accumulated four goals and a career-high eight assists for a total of 16 points. Sevey helped lead Maine to its best season in program history as it won a record-19 games, won its first regular season title since 2005 and appeared in its first America East title game since 2006.

Secco, a senior midfielder, earned America East Conference Offensive Player of the Year and first-team All-Conference honors in 2015. She compiled eight goals to lead the Cardinal as well as a team-high 13 assists for 29 points. She helped Stanford receive an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament for the second-straight year.
