BOSTON - The top two teams in the standings kept up their solid play last week as Stony Brook and Albany both extended win streaks. The Seawolves beat Princeton to lengthen their run to three games while the Great Danes posted a pair of road wins and have won four in a row and six of their last seven.
Additionally, UMass Lowell beat Boston College, 68-66, on Sunday. It's the conference's first win over an ACC team since Maine beat the Eagles on Jan. 2, 2010.
Stony Brook's Jameel Warney earned America East Player of the Week honors for the second straight week while Maine's Devine Eke was named Rookie of the Week presented by Under Armour.

Player of the Week
Jameel Warney, Stony Brook - Sr., Forward, Plainfield, N.J.
- Had a dominant performance to lead Stony Brook over Princeton Saturday, collecting 26 points, 15 rebounds, a career-high nine blocks and five assists.
- Shot 11-of-14 from the field.
- Sixth double-double in as many games this year and nearly recorded the first triple double by an America East player since 2014.
- This is Warney's second-straight Player of the Week honor and 12th of his career.
Rookie of the Week presented by Under Armour
Devine Eke, Maine - Fr., Forward, Plainfield, N.J.
- Averaged 22.0 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks in a pair of games last week.
- Shot 75 percent from the field on 21-of-28 shooting.
- Had career highs of 29 points on 14-of-18 shooting and 16 rebounds against Army Wednesday.
- Scored 15 points to go with seven boards at Marquette Saturday.

- America East ranks 18th out of 32 Division I conferences in RPI, according to the Dec. 7 College Basketball News RPI Report.
- The ranking is a 10-spot improvement from this time a year ago and the conference's best at any point in a season since the final 2008-09 rankings.
- Stony Brook (102) and Albany (104) are the league's top teams.
- The Seawolves, winners of three straight, beat Princeton, which was picked second in the Ivy League, 91-77 Saturday.
- Jameel Warney had a monster game of 26 points on 11-of-14 shooting, 15 rebounds, a career-high nine blocks and five assists.
- Albany beat Holy Cross, 88-84 in overtime Saturday. The Great Danes have won four straight and six of their last seven games.
- UMass Lowell won at Boston College, 68-66, on Sunday.
- The River Hawks' win was the first by an America East team over an ACC foe since Maine beat Boston College on Jan. 2, 2010.
- Jameel Warney is just three rebounds shy of 1,000 for his career and becoming just the sixth player in league history with 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds.
- Warney’s 13.2 rebounds per game are third-best in the nation while his 3.5 blocks per contest are fifth best.
