BOSTON - Vermont was the lone America East swimming & diving squad in action last week as it picked up wins over Central Conn. State and Bryant to run its win streak to four meets.

Swimmer of the Week
Kelly Lennon, Vermont - So., Methuen, Mass.
- Registered a pair of wins at Central Conn. State in both the 200 free (1:53.54) and the 500 free (5:13.68).
- Followed that performance by winning the 200 free (1:53.71) and dominating the 500 free (5:14.20) by more than nine seconds on Sunday vs. Bryant.
Diver of the Week
Maggie Preston, Vermont - Sr., West Hartford, Conn.
- Swept the diving events at Central Conn. State on Saturday, posting a score of 246.22 in the 1-meter and collecting 233.62 points to win the 3-meter.
- Narrowly won the 1-meter diving event vs. Bryant on Sunday with 237.96 points and claimed second in the 3-meter event ( 235.34).
Notes
- Vermont has won four consecutive meets by an average of nearly 72 points to improve to 5-2 on the season.
- The Catamounts beat Central Conn. State, 197.5-102.5, on Saturday and downed Bryant, 172-120, Sunday.
- Vermont broke the CCSU pool record in the 200 free relay on Saturday (1:37.07) and set a new pool record in the 200-yard medley relay on Sunday at home against Bryant (1:46.64).
- All five America East programs are in action next weekend.
