BOSTON - Just four America East cross country teams competed last weekend as most teams and top runners rested for this week's America East Championship, which takes place Saturday, Oct. 31 at Stony Brook University. The men's race is first at 10 a.m. followed by the women's race at 11 a.m. Visit Championship Central for complete details.

Men's Performer of the Week
Chris Skelly, UMass Lowell - Fr., Pepperell, Mass.
- Placed 21st out of 119 runners at the Central Conn. State Mini Meet Friday.
- Top America East finisher with a time of 15:32.
Women's Performer of the Week
Kayal Farren, New Hampshire - So., Nashua, N.H.
- Placed 10th out of 113 runners at Central Conn. State's Mini Meet Friday.
- Top America East finisher with a time of 15:32.
- This is her third Women's Performer of the Week honor of the season and fourth of her career.
Notes
- UMass Lowell and New Hampshire were the only two teams that completed last week, both running at Central Connecticut State's Mini Meet.
- The 2015 America East Cross Country Championship takes place Saturday with the men's race at 10 a.m. and the women's at 11 a.m.
- Six America East programs are regionally ranked.
- UMBC men moved up two spots to eighth in the latest USTFCCCA Mid-Atlantic Regional Poll while UMass Lowell moved up five places to 10th in the Northeast Poll and Binghamton slid one spot to 13th.
- New Hampshire women are eighth in the women's USTFCCCA Northeast Poll while Albany is 12th and Stony Brook is 13th.
