#AEToday: Conference Play Gets Underway

America East's newest web feature, #AEToday, will offer quick hits on what's happening in the conference, including upcoming conference games, key results, must know facts and much more!

Need To Know
The first conference action of the 2014-15 academic year takes play Friday with three America East volleyball matches. Hartford (9-6) and Stony Brook (7-7) won the most non-conference matches among league teams and they meet at 6 p.m. in West Hartford. Both teams enter the weekend playing well with the Hawks having won eight of the their last 10 matches and the Seawolves being victorious in six of their last nine. Also Friday, New Hampshire, last year's regular-season and league champion, opens defense of its crowns at home against UMass Lowell at 7 p.m. while Binghamton and Albany, which have combined to win eight of the last nine America East titles, square off in Vestal.
