CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - New Hampshire's Meg Flatley scored the most goals by an America East player in over the year, tallying four scores in her team's win over UNH Saturday. She was one of three conference award winners this week:

Player of the Week
Meg Flatley, New Hampshire, Jr., Forward, Townsend, Mass.

  • Scored five goals in two games last week.
  • Tallied a career-best four scores in UNH's 7-1 win over Hofstra Sunday.
  • The four scores are the most by an America East player since September 27, 2013.
  • Also scored the Wildcats' lone goal against Providence Friday.

Defensive Player of the Week
Kelsey Federico, UMass Lowell, Fr., Goalkeeper, Windham, N.H.

  • Stopped 16 of 21 shots (76 percent) she faced last week.
  • Made seven saves in UML's 3-2 win over Quinnipiac.
  • Stopped nine shots against Hofstra Friday.

Rookie of the Week
Marta Laginja, Fairfield, Fr., Midfielder, Wien, Austria

  • Scored the game-winning goal in Fairfield's win over Siena.
  • The score was her second of the season.

  • Albany was ranked 7th in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Poll last week, the program's highest-ever ranking.
  • The No. 7 ranking is the league's best since New Hampshire was ranked seventh in 2010.
  • Paula Heuser leads the conference and ranks among national leaders with 22 points (9 G, 4 A).
  • Maine beat Bryant, 3-1, Saturday in its first home game after playing its first six games on the road.
  • New Hampshire exploded for a season-high seven goals in a 7-1 win over Hofstra Sunday.
