CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - New Hampshire put up three goals, its most of the young season, in a 3-2 win over Hofstra Friday. Fazal Nabi scored twice to lead the Wildcats to the win. Nabi is one of the two America East weekly award winners for the week ending Sept. 21:

- Scored twice, his first two collegiate goals, in UNH's 3-2 win over Hofstra Friday.
- Tallied his first score on a free kick in the 20th minute and notched his scored off a one timer in the 38th minute.
Rookie of the Week
Afonso Pinheiro, Albany, Fr., Forward, Sao Paulo, Brazil
- Factored in on both Albany's goals last week, scoring once and setting up a score in the Great Danes' 2-2 double-overtime tie with Hartwick Saturday.
- Leads Albany with seven points (3G, 1A).
- The award is his second in a row.

- New Hampshire snapped a two-game losing skid with a 3-2 win over Hofstra Saturday.
- UMBC extended its home field unbeaten streak to 10 games (7-0-3) with a 1-1 tie vs. Loyola. UMBC is 28th in this week's College Soccer News Poll.
- UMBC's Kay Banjo and Vermont's Brian Wright are tied for ninth nationally with 12 points apiece.
- Banjo is also ninth with four assists while Wright is 10th with five goals.
- UMBC's Mamadou Kansaye and Marquez Fernandez are both candidates for the Senior CLASS Award, given to a senior who excels in
community, classroom, character and competition.
