The sixth week of America East Conference play begins with a doubleheader between Stony Brook and UMass Lowell on Friday with a pair of games on Easter Sunday. Preview the weekend ahead:

First-place Stony Brook heads to the site of the 2014 baseball championship as UMass Lowell hosts the Seawolves in a Friday-Saturday series. The Seawolves have won six-straight and 21 of their last 26 games heading into the weekend. Reigning America East Pitcher of the Week Ryley MacEachern takes the ball in game two. He has allowed just two earned runs in his last 14.0 innings of work.

UMass Lowell is 2-12 after starting the season 8-2, however the River Hawks last eight losses have come by just one run, including all three games vs. Maine last weekend and a mid-week loss to Boston College.

Maine has won four-straight and is coming off a sweep of UMass Lowell last weekend, climbing back into the hunt for the the baseball championship. Troy Black paces the Black Bears with a .353 average, driving in 17 runs.

Binghamton was swept by Stony Brook last weekend but looks to get back on track in a rematch of the 2013 America East title game. Junior Jack Rogalla takes the ball in game one with a team-best 2.38 ERA and a 3-4 record. Billy Bereszniewicz leads the Bearcats at the plate with a .327 average.

After a weekend off from conference play, Hartford returns to league action hosting Albany. The Hawks sit in second-place, just one game behind Stony Brook for first. Sean Newcomb, a top-20 MLB prospect, is on the hill in game one. After not allowing an earned run in his first 40.0 innings this season, Newcomb has given up four runs in each of his last two outings. He leads the conference with 57 strikeouts.

Albany was swept in conference play against UMBC last weekend. The Great Danes rank second in the conference during league play with a .283 batting average. Evan Harasta leads the group, hitting at a .366 clip during conference action with 11 RBI.
