ALBANY, N.Y. -- The 2014 America East Women's Basketball semifinals are set for Sunday and will begin with a rematch of last year's title game, as top-seeded Albany battles fifth-seeded Hartford at 11 a.m. No. 2 Stony Brook and No. 3 New Hampshire will follow at 1:15 p.m. Both games will be played at University at Albany's SEFCU Arena and will be available live on ESPN3 and via the WatchESPN app on smartphones and tablets.
The winners of the semifinal matchups will meet in the America East Championship game on Monday, March 10, at 4 p.m. on ESPNU.
No. 1 Albany (26-4) vs. No. 5 Hartford (13-17)

- The Great Danes are making their third-straight trip to the semifinals, having won back-to-back America East titles.
- Albany has won six-straight tournament games and are 6-1 in the America East Championship under Katie Abrahamson-Henderson.
- Sophomore Shereesha Richards and freshman Imani Tate each scored 18 points to lead Albany over Binghamton, 77-59, in the quarterfinals.
- Hartford is in very familiar territory, advancing to its ninth semifinal in 10 year and 14th overall.
- The Hawks have won 24 tournament games under head coach Jennifer Rizzotti, the most wins for a coach in the America East Championship in conference history.
- Hartford won the first overtime game since 2009 in the quarterfinals, defeating Maine, 63-62. Freshman Deanna Mayza scored four of her 12 points in the final 16 seconds while Amber Bepko had a team-high 16.
- Hartford and Albany are meeting for the sixth time in the tournament and the third time in the last four years. Albany defeated Hartford in the 2013 title game, but Hartford had won the three previous meetings.

- Stony Brook is making its fourth trip to the America East semifinals and the first since 2010.
- The Seawolves are 7-12 in championship play and are looking for their second title game appearance. The first came in 2002, the team's first year in the league.
- Stony Brook held UMBC to 34% shooting and forced 23 turnovers in the quarterfinals, while Jessica Ogunnorin led the team with 13 points as the Seawolves won, 61-49.
- New Hampshire advanced to its second-straight semifinal and 14th overall, tying them with Hartford for the third-most appearances among current America East teams.
- The Wildcats are 11-29 in the tournament and are looking for their first trip to a title game.
- Corinne Coia scored 21 points and Kelsey Hogan added 18 as UNH earned an 85-79 win over Vermont. The 85 points were the most scored in a tournament game since 2008.
