Marco Banegas-Flores, UMass Lowell - Gr., Boston, Mass.
- Averaged 18.5 points on 65 percent shooting in two games last week.
- Tallied a career-high 19 points in the River Hawks' win over NJIT Tuesday.
- Shot 6-of-9 from the field, incluind 5-of-7 from three-point land.
- Had 18 points in a loss at Cornell Saturday.
Rookie of the Week
Dusan Perovic, Binghamton - Fr., Podgorico, Montenegro
- Scored a program-record 34 points, 29 of which came in the second half, at Boston University Wednesday.
- The 34 points are the most by an America East player since Stony Brook's Anthony Jackson had 36 on Nov. 20, 2013.
- Averaged 25 points and five rebounds in two games last week.

- America East teams are 16-7 in non-league home games this year.
- Vermont improved to 14-2 in its last 16 America East openers with an 81-69 victory over Hartford Wednesday.
- Cam Ward scored a career-high 19 points off the bench and Dre Wills added 11 points, seven rebounds, seven assists and six steals.
- Maine’s Bob Walsh earned his first win as a Division I head coach Tuesday, an 82-81 overtime win over Wagner.
- UMass Lowell (6-3) has won six of its last seven games and posted a six-game winning streak, its longest in Division I.
- New Hampshire (5-2) has won four straight and is off to its best start since the 2010-11 season.
- Stony Brook’s Jameel Warney has eight double-doubles in nine games this season.
- Warney is second in the country averaging 12.3 rebounds per game.
- UMass Lowell’s Jahad Thomas is the first America East player to win three Rookie of the Week honors to start his career since 1993 (Tunji Awojobi, Boston U.).
- UMBC’s Rodney Elliott, the league’s reigning Rookie of the Year, is out for the season after undergoing shoulder surgery.
