11 #AEMSOC Players Named to NSCAA All-East Region

Following a competitive America East men's soccer season that culminated with UMBC making a trip to the College Cup semifinals, 11 student-athletes were named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-East Region.

Four were named to the first team including a pair of Retrievers in Oumar Ballo and Mamadou Kansaye. Both Ballo (Defender of the Year) and Kansaye (Midfielder of the Year) were major award winners in the America East. Binghamton's Robert Moewes, the America East Goalkeeper of the Year, and UMass Lowell defender Wuilito Fernandes, Fans' Choice Player of the Year, also earned spots on the first team.

A third Retriever in Marquez Fernandez landed on the second team along with a pair of forwards with Hartford's Javoni Simms and Vermont's Brian Wright.

The Hawks had two more members on the third team in defender Jhamie Hyde and midfielder Rohan Roye. UMass Lowell forward Homero Morais rounded out the America East selections.
