Co-Player of the Week
Daniel Dion, New Hampshire - So., Cedar Park, Texas
- Scored 23 points in each of New Hampshire's contests last week, both wins.
- Tallied a career-high 23 points in just 25 minutes off the bench in a win over Boston University Tuesday.
- Netted 23 again and scored the game-winning basket with 1.3 seconds left in a win at Dartmouth Sunday.
Player of the Week
Jameel Warney, Stony Brook - Jr., Plainfield, N.J.
- Averaged 16.7 points, 11.7 rebounds and 3.3 blocks in three Stony Brook wins last week.
- The reigning America East Player of the Year scored 17 points on and grabbed 15 rebounds in a win over Western Kentucky Tuesday.
- Scored 18 points, including the 1,000th of his career, on 8-of-9 shooting and added nine boards against LIU Brooklyn Thursday.
- Finished the week with a 15-point, 11-rebound, 5-block, 4-assist showing vs. St. Thomas Aquinas Saturday Sunday.
- The Player of the Week honor is Warney's second in a row and third of his career.
Rookie of the Week
Jahad Thomas, UMass Lowell - R-Fr., Williamsport, Pa.
- Earned his third-straight Rookie of the Week honor by averaging 18.5 points and 4.5 rebounds last week.
- Scored 16 points to go with four rebounds and four assists in a win over Mount Ida Tuesday.
- Scored a career-high 21 points and grabbed five boards in a win at Boston University Sunday.
- Is the first America East player to win three Rookie of the Week honors to start his career since 1993 (Tunji Awojobi, Boston U.).

- America East teams went 11-8 last week with Stony Brook (3), Hartford (2), UMass Lowell (2), New Hampshire (2), Albany and Vermont picking up wins.
- Stony Brook (5-2) has won four straight games overall and 33 consecutive games when holding their opponent under 60 points.
- UMass Lowell (5-2) has won five games in a row, its longest Division I winning streak.
- Hartford (5-2) got off its best start in its 31-year Division I history at 5-1 before falling at Yale Sunday.
- Stony Brook's Jameel Warney eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for his career Thursday at Madison Square Garden against LIU Brooklyn.
- Warney is fourth in the country averaging 12.6 rebounds per game.
- UMass Lowell's Jahad Thomas is the first America East player to win three Rookie of the Week honors to start his career since 1993 (Tunji Awojobi, Boston U.).
- The first conference game of the 2014-15 season takes place Wednesday with Vermont hosting Hartford.
