CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Three different teams are represented in the final America East weekly awards. New Hampshire won its second-straight regular-season title, while UMass Lowell earned its first America East victory over the weekend. Here are the final weekly award winners of the 2014 season:

Player of the Week
Laini Leindecker, Albany, So., OH, New Philadelphia, Ohio

  • Led Albany to a straight-set win over UMBC, registering 13 kills and eight digs on a .391 hitting percentage.
  • Ranked second in the conference in both hitting percentage and kills per set (4.33) while also averaged 2.67 digs per set.
  • Helped Albany secure the No. 3 seed in the America East Championship.

Setter of the Week
Taylor Dunklau, New Hampshire, Sr., S, Mukwonago, Wis.

  • Helped New Hampshire to a 2-0 week, clinching the team's second-straight America East regular-season title.
  • Led the conference with 11.83 assists per set while helping UNH to a .268 team hitting percentage - good for second in the conference.
  • Totaled 33 assists and six digs in a three-set win over Stony Brook.
  • Handed out 38 assists and four digs in a three-set win over Hartford.
  • Also averaged 1.67 digs per set.
  • Registered her 1,000th career assist - the third player in program history to accomplish the feat.

Rookie of the Week
Masha Yelsukova, UMass Lowell, Fr., OH, Santa Clara, Calif.

  • Led all freshmen with 3.33 kils per set in a 1-1 week for the River Hawks.
  • Posted 11 kills and four digs in a five-set win against Stony Brook.
  • Notched 19 kills and nine digs on a .244 attack percentage in a four-set loss to Hartford.
  • Averaged 1.44 digs per set for the week.

Notes

  • New Hampshire earned its second-straight America East regular-season title and will host the America East Championship Nov. 21-22 at Lundholm Gym.
  • For the second-straight year, there was a three-way tie for the No. 2 seed. Binghamton took the No. 2 seed, Albany finished third and Stony Brook is the No. 4 seed.
  • UMass Lowell recorded their first America East victory on Friday against Stony Brook.
