CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Career performances have netted Albany's Gary Johnson and Stony Brook's Ahmad Walker America East men's basketball weekly honors. Johnson's career-high 28 points earned him Player of the Week while Walker scored a career-best 18 points last week to earn his first Rookie of the Week award of the season:

Gary Johnson, Sr., Forward, Albany
- Averaged 20.5 points and 3.0 rebounds over two games last week.
- Shot 59.1 percent from the field.
- Eclipsed his previous career high by 12 points, scoring 28 on 9-of-11 shooting in a win over Maine Saturday.
- Had 13 points and four boards against UMass Lowell Wednesday.
Rookie of the WeekAhmad Walker, Fr., Forward, UMass Lowell
- Averaged 10.0 points and 6.0 rebounds in two Stony Brook wins last week.
- Had the best game of his career in the Seawolves' win over UMass Lowell Saturday, scoring a team and career-high 18 points to go with seven rebounds and three assists.
