UMass Lowell is coming off back-to-back wins including the team's first Division I victory over UMBC on Saturday. Jasmine McRoy scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the victory for the River Hawks.
On Wednesday, New Hampshire (8-7, 2-0) won its fourth-straight game by defeating UMBC (2-14, 1-3), 60-47. It is the team's longest winning streak since 1998-99 while the Wildcats are off to a 2-0 start in the conference for the first time since 2004-05. Corinne Coia had 14 points to lead UNH while Sarah-Marie Frankenberger.
Stony Brook (11-5, 2-1) erased a double-digit deficit for the third-straight game, coming back to beat Binghamton (4-13, 1-3), 48-45. Miranda Jenkins scored 5 of her nine points in the final 1:08, including what proved to be the game-winning bucket on a jumper with 34 seconds to go that put the Seawolves up, 46-45. After getting a stop defensively, Chikilra Goodman hit a pair of free throws with 17 seconds left and Binghamton came up short on a pair of 3-pointers on the final possession. Sabre Proctor led Stony Brook with 18 points and eight rebounds.
