UMBC (2-13, 1-2) hosts its ninth annual Midday Madness as part of Wednesday's America East women's basketball action, as the Retrievers host New Hampshire (7-7, 1-0) at noon.

The Retrievers had over 2,900 fans pour into RAC Arena a year ago, a program attendance record. UMBC holds a 12-9 advantage of New Hampshire in the all-time series. The Wildcats are coming off a win in their conference-opener over Stony Brook in overtime as Kelsey Hogan led the team with 35 points.

Binghamton (4-12, 1-2) hosts Stony Brook (10-5, 1-1) at 7 p.m. at the Events Center. The Seawolves trail the all-time series against the Bearcats, 20-14, but swept both meeting last season. Sabre Proctor leads the Seawolves and is second in the league in scoring at 15.8 points per game, registering double figures in 11-straight contests. Sherae Swinson leads Binghamton in both scoring (11.1 ppg) and rebounding (5.4 rpg).

Both of Wednesday's game will be broadcast live for free on AmericaEast.TV.

On Tuesday night, four Black Bears scored in double figures as Maine (9-8, 3-1) won its third-straight game, beating Vermont, 92-62. It was the first time since scoring 92 against Yale in 2003 that the Black Bears eclipsed the 90-point mark.

Liz Wood led Maine with 22 points and six rebounds, hitting her first six shots from the floor, while Cherrish Wallace registered her first career double-double with 13 points and 10 assists. Kristina White led Vermont with 15 points in 19 minutes off the bench.
