CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Conference play opened in women's soccer on Sunday with a full slate of four games in the afternoon. Road teams went 2-1-1 on the day as the top-two teams in the preseason poll both came away with victories going away. Below are recaps of the four contests.

Hartford 3 at Albany 1

  • Hartford erased a 1-0 halftime deficit with three goals in the second half to take a 3-1 win on the road.
  • Hawks' senior Natasha Douglas scored both the game-tying and game-winning goals less than 10 minutes apart to lift Hartford to the victory.
