UVM Swimming & Diving Raises Money for National Alliance on Mental Illness

BURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont swimming and diving team is currently raising money to support the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). The team will participate in the upcoming 5k NAMIWalk at Waterfront Park in Burlington on Saturday, September 21st at 10:30 a.m. If you wish to support the cause, donations can be made by clicking here.
 
NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness by providing services, treatment and research. As part of their cause, they organize NAMIWalks throughout the country to help generate support and awareness for those affected. NAMIWalks has become the largest and most successful mental health awareness and fundraising event in America, and is celebrating its 11th anniversary this year.
