CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - All eight America East men’s soccer programs begin their seasons on Friday night with three of those contests airing live for free on AmericaEast.TV.
Binghamton and UMass Lowell are the first two teams in action, both kicking off at 5 p.m. The Bearcats, who will try to bounce back from a 6-11-1 season, face Virginia Tech in the JMU Invitational while the River Hawks make their Division I debut at Stetson.
At 7 p.m., a pair of games air on AmericaEast.TV, the conference's newly launched digital network. Reigning league champion and preseason favorite UMBC hosts Seattle University and Hartford will entertain Holy Cross. At 7:30 p.m., Stony Brook, winner of two of the last four league titles, hosts Sacred Heart. To watch all three games, visit the AmericaEast.TV portal.
Also Friday night, New Hampshire faces Bradley at 7 p.m., 2012 America East regular-season champion Vermont visits Niagara at 7 p.m. and Albany takes on Cal St. Northridge at 10:30 p.m.
