PORTLAND, Maine - The America East Conference handed out its 2012-13 annual awards at its annual award dinner in Portland, Maine Tuesday evening.
In total, six student-athletes and one school were honored, highlighted by University at Albany receiving the Stuart P. Haskell, Jr. Commissioner’s Cup for the second time in school history. Additionally, Boston University's Katie Matthews was named the America East Woman of the Year, Binghamton University's Robbie Hughes and University of Hartford's Natalie Bonham received the conference's Male and Female Sportsmanship Awards, University of Vermont's Kaleigh Wood and J.J. Newland earned the CFES Community Service Award.
