CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Three America East women's lacrosse conference games are set for Wednesday afternoon as league play enters the final month of the regular season.
Vermont at New Hampshire, 3 p.m.

Both Vermont and New Hampshire are looking for their first conference victories on Wednesday when the two teams meet in Durham, N.H. The Catamounts won their first game over a ranked opponent last week, defeating Dartmouth in triple overtime before dropping a one-goal game at Binghamton on Saturday. Sydney Mas, who scored five goals in the game vs. Dartmouth, ranks fifth in the conference at 2.73 goals per game.
New Hampshire lost its conference opener at Albany on March 24 but is coming off a 16-0 shutout of Iona in the team’s last game. The Wildcats are 3-6, but three of those losses have come by just one goal with another coming by two goals.
Binghamton at UMBC, 4 p.m.

Both the Bearcats and Retrievers won their conference openers and enter Wednesday afternoon’s game with 1-0 league records. UMBC is off to a 7-3 overall start, scoring 115 goals while surrendering only 86. The team ranks third in the conference in scoring at 11.50 goals per game, with Alyssa Semones pacing the offense with 32 points.
Binghamton has won two of its last three games and broke a 10-game conference losing streak with a 7-6 win over Vermont in the team’s America East opener. Sophomore Alex Fisher tallied the game-winning goal with 7:42 left to play in the contest.
Albany at Boston U., 4 p.m.

Albany and Boston U. are both looking to bounce back after losing their last conference games. The Great Danes dropped a 9-2 decision to Stony Brook in what was a rematch of the 2012 title game. Albany is second in the conference in scoring offense at 13.20 goals per game while allowing only 7.43 goals per game.
Boston U. is coming off a win in its last outing, defeating Harvard 12-11. The Terriers have faced five ranked opponents in their first eight games, with wins over UMass and Ohio State during the stretch. Senior Danielle Etrasco is second in the conference at 3.12 goals per game, as the Terriers average 10.00 goals per game as a team.
